ROUTE THROUGH   PURACÉ NATURAL NATIONAL PARK There are actually only two roads in Colombia which cross national parks, one is in Los Nevados national park and the other one is in Puracé national park. This road crosses from Huila to Cauca department; it is a non-pavemented road that reaches most of the places of interest of the national park. 

 

There are wonderful landscapes along the way: waterfalls, hotsprings, lakes and rivers to enjoy and live very inspiring moments.

 

Indigenous communities, traditional mountain villages, museums and archaeological places.

ROUTE THROUGH THE PÁRAMO DE PALETARÁ:

This is the way buses take to go to san Agustín from Cali, this ways goes up to the mountain to cross it; along the way we find hotsprings, waterfalls and beautiful mountain landscapes the Puracé and Sotará volcanoes and the paramount.

 You can see rivers such as Cauca coming down the mountain where it is only a small brooke. Department limits in the mountain, very well preserved nature and wild life observation.
